Summer has arrived and there is nothing more attractive than enjoying beach holidays and summer picnics. Summer is a time when lemon sodas become your favourite option than hot tea. This season shows its impact on your skin. The red hot heat, humidity and environmental pollution drain off the natural glow and make you skin dull, oily and damaged.

Use sunscreen:

Prolonged sun exposure can cause wrinkles, hyper-pigmentation, sunburns and skin ageing. Sunscreen acts as a shield from dangerous UV rays. Always wear sunscreen whenever you go out and choose a sunscreen that protects your skin from harmful UV rays.

  • Tomatoes and lemons can make your skin fresh.
  • Lycopene in tomatoes prevents skin from discoloration, fine lines and wrinkles. Grind tomato and make juice without adding water and freeze this juice in ice trays. Scrub your face with these cubes.
  • Aloe Vera is the best remedy for skin, acts as a moisturizer and hydrates skin. It helps to treat pimples, acne and scars. Honey and aloe Vera paste is best for oily skin.
  • Tulsi is best for acne. Make a paste of curd and tulsi powder and apply this face pack for 15 minutes.

Eat healthy:

Your healthy and flawless skin is the result of what you eat. If you want healthy and glowing skin in summers, eat food that nourishes your skin. Avoid food that is heavy and rich in carbohydrates, which can make your skin oily. Eat vegetables and fruits that are abundant in proteins, antioxidants and Vitamin C. Stay away from unhygienic street food.
