Baba Muntaha an inspiration for Kashmiri girls
Helping the needy brings out a feeling that cannot be found anywhere else. Seeing the smile on one’s face when you help a needy person, brings great joy to the soul. Meet Muntaha, a student, 5 times Gold Medalist & a young social Actuvist from Srinagar. She started into sports in 5th standard and has represented Jammu and Kashmir in the nationals, in which she won a gold medal. Seeing poor children roaming around the street while she used to go to school, is what struck her heart, and decided to become a helper to others. She did her first charity in college when she collected funds for a local cancer patient and ever since she has been part of multiple volunteer and charitable activities and recently done her own event under the theme khatoon “lets give her wings”. Believing youth needs to come forward and showcase their talent to prove themselves and not hide behind unhealthy and unfruitful activities. If one has the talent then they should pursue it further and be passionate about it. As it is your own confidence can help you succeed in life and make you better than others.
